Cirrus Mining Innovation Limited (Cirrus) have signed an agreement to provide services to the Brazilian investment company, Grupo PHEX. In an exciting new partnership, Cirrus will help them assess mining projects sustainability and profitability using their revolutionary mineral reserves sensitivity analysis solution.

PHEX Group is an investment group that specialises in mining assets. They promote the sustainability of mining projects in line with economic, social, and environmental regulations. To achieve this goal, the PHEX Group invests in processes, technology, and its human resources, enabling growth oriented within mining ethics and business needs.

Cirrus builds innovative web based applications that enables engineers, geologists and managers to perform mineral reserves sensitivity analysis in a dynamic, scalable, secure and collaborative environment.

PHEX CEO, Pedro Cezar Henrique explains why they choose to work with Cirrus, “Our team uses a specific risk assessment process to evaluate mineral assets. The Cirrus application has allowed us to speed up sensitivity analysis by examining hundreds of alternative scenarios in just a few minutes. Cirrus users and beta testers have been testing out our new user interface for improved efficiency and ease of use.

Coming soon is a new and improved interface that optimizes the way you work with Cirrus. We have moved the Tool Bar to the left-hand side which makes it more intuitive when switching between tabs and frees up real estate for displaying reports and 3D visualizations.

After the success of our visit in 2017, Cirrus will return to one of the largest mining exhibitions in Latin America. The event will be held from September 9 to 12, in Belo Horizonte (MG), by the Brazilian Mining Institute (IBRAM).

Users visiting our stand will be able to try out Cirrus on our interactive screen, and also talk to our specialists about how mining companies are using Cirrus to reduce risk and improve their sensitivity analysis workflow.

Our software engineers have been able to make further speed improvements to Block Model upload, file processing and the creation of resource and economic models.

By harnessing the power of Microsofts Cloud technology, Cirrus has made significant improvements to the speed of data processing. This will allow Cirrus users to perform sensitivity analysis much faster than before.
